My daughter LOVES this record player. She and her sisters have dance parties. The sound quality is excellent. HavenĄŻt had any issues with the vinyls. She loves that it connects to bluetooth and sounds clear. The volume is also great and doesnĄŻt distort when loud. And itĄŻs portable!

A super awesome item to get you back in time with your or your loved ones favourite tunes from years ago!
The vintage portable record player has three speeds and you can use different sizes vinyl records and they work great! this is a great item that will give you the chance of sharing wonderful memories of your elder loved ones, in my case I chose to get really old picture albums, those made out of paper and give them life with the background music and this super cool vintage record player!
My mom still has those very old albums and had many vinyl records that are now coming back to life!
The bluetooth suitcase is very well built and has metal corners and closing, very stylish in my opinion , you can pair it with your phone and computer too! the handle makes it good for taking it from one room to the other
Cheers to building wonderful memories!

Overall the quality and sound is good. I do like the style. For the one feature of the drives me nuts is that when the album is done playing the needle simply stops on the album and doesnĄŻt return. I know itĄŻs not much but being that record players have done that for over 50 years for the price they couldĄŻve done at least that.

I love this record player, when itĄŻs working that is. The player will work for about 20 minutes with no problems whatsoever, and the. The power will just turn off. The player will resume functioning after the power is cycled for about 30 seconds. I wish I could find out what is going, and get it resolved because this seems to be a very solid unit.

Although most people listen to music via mp3 or streaming these days, records have yet to go extinct. There's the nostalgia component that keep people holding onto their records, my parents included. They were contemplating donating their record collection because their record player no longer works. They have a vast collection and I thought it would be a shame for them to give up their collection just because they didn't have a record player to play them. As luck would have it, I came across this portable turntable made by Retrolife.
vinyl record player in the sense that it plays records of different sizes and at different speeds, embedded bluetooth speakers are very impressive - sound quality was very good coming from the player itself and with bluetooth connectivity, you can connect the player to external/portable/wireless speakers if you wish. Also comes with RCA outputs and headphone jack.

I have a Marshall speaker but when I plug in the RCA cables nothing happens and the music plays through the built in speaker. Will this not work with speakers like this?

Retrolife Official Store

The R609 is a turntable with built-in speakers, and it can also be connected to passive speakers through its RCA output.

For external speaker connection, please connect the R609 to a pair of passive speakers. The turntable already has a built-in amplifier, so no additional amplifier is required.

Connection:
R609 RCA OUT → Passive Speakers

Need troubleshooting guidance. Sound is super muffled and we cannot increase the volume. Needle is free from dust. also, record player is not going into Bluetooth mode.

Retrolife Official Store

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing sound and Bluetooth issues.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the sound issue
If the vinyl sound is muffled or very low:
Make sure the volume knob is turned up.
Check that the stylus protection cover has been removed before playing.
Confirm the stylus is properly installed and firmly attached to the cartridge.
Check if the tonearm is balanced correctly and the stylus is making proper contact with the record.
Try playing another record to confirm whether the issue is related to the record itself.

Please also check if the sound is the same from both built-in speakers.

2. Check Bluetooth mode
For Bluetooth connection:
Turn on the turntable.
Switch the function knob to Bluetooth mode.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone or device.
Search for the turntable name and connect.

If the turntable does not enter Bluetooth mode:
Make sure the function knob is switched completely to Bluetooth position.
Turn off the turntable and restart it.
Try disconnecting other nearby Bluetooth devices and pair again.
