Excellent quality audiophile level turntable

Been listening to vinyl since the 1970's and needed a new turntable, the old Dual died after 40 years. I did a bit of research and this model of Retrolife checked all my boxes. The turntable quality is good, sound quality is acceptable, has many moden features, is attractive to look at and it's affordable. Very happy with my purchase.

I love the fact that this record player can be moved rather easily.

Normally your turntable is in one place and it stays there. I love the fact that this record player can be moved rather easily.
Its a nice Summer day you can bring the record player out on the patio and spin some records. Very cool and it sounds great. Im buying another for my daughters house.

I am very happy with this turntable. It's beautiful and has the retro style I was looking for. I especially like that you can close the the cover while the record is playing. The Bluetooth connection works great once I get it connected. It will sometimes connect immediately and other times it takes a while, which could be something with my signal on my soundbar. I have recommended this player to others that are looking.

Souned Good!

First let me say I'm not an audiophile...I'm a casual vinyl listener and upgraded my entry audio tech to this turntable and it's been a great buy so far. Since my last turntable came pre-assembled, I was a little apprehensive about setting this up myself, but the instructions were clear, it took a few minutes, but a breeze!

This record player is a great gift for anyone who loves music and wants to start a record collection. The sound quality is good, but you don't crank up the volume too loudly and there's no noise. It came earlier than expected, which is great. It's very easy to assemble and get to work. In the end, it sounds better than any turntable I've ever heard. It's the perfect size and very user friendly! The bluetooth function is very easy to use with the iphone, when you don't have records, it connects directly to the turntable.

sounds good! Perfect for a small area outside my kitchen. The setup was simple and I took the time to properly balance the tonearm. A pair of bookshelf speakers will eventually be connected, but until then I'm still pretty happy with it. Has a great retro style and is solidly constructed. Project sounds great.

For someone new to vinyl, this is an excellent record player.

For someone new to vinyl, this is an excellent record player. I've been thinking about buying one since I'm a huge classic rock fan, so I finally bought it for my 30th birthday. I especially like this model because I can go completely classic and use the built-in speakers, or I can connect to the speakers via bluetooth. It's really easy to use! I didn't even look at the manual and it was easy to figure out because the buttons and knobs are labeled. It's also lightweight and less bulky.

There is absolutely no problem with the connection. The first record I tested was a tool picture disc, it was impossible to play on my last player, no issues tracking or skipping, the sound was great! Really happy to be able to play my record!

Love it - first time owning a turntable but lifelong audio lover. It's easy to assemble for beginners, it's a beautiful piece of equipment, and the sound quality is great. I bought some records from the auction house a while ago, hoping my husband would get a hint. Anyway, it played records like Billy Joel's "Songs in the Attic" and some recent purchases from Amazon like Garth Brooks Legacy/Original Analog album "The Chase" and Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" --Very satisfied

Definitely one of the best entry-level turntables out there. Setup is very easy. There's no height adjustment on the tonearm, so needle options are more limited, but I have no intention of buying needles that cost more than turntables, so no problem. So far, I'm impressed with the sound quality and the built-in preamp. The bass was much better than I expected from an entry-level turntable. Honestly, the photos don't tell you how good this turntable looks. I really like the finish and the sturdy construction (this is not a lightweight unit). I use it almost every day now and the whole room is filled with music from the record player and it's amazing.

This is a nifty record player for anyone trying to start playing vinyl. The unit is easy to set up, just follow the instructional video. The materials used are exceptional and seem to last for years; the base is heavy and the other parts like the tonearm are incredibly stiff. The sound is warm, but the volume seems to be a bit low and the receiver volume needs to be raised. The included audio and ground wires were too short so I had to replace it. All in all, I am very satisfied with this player and would recommend it to others.

I bought it so I could get and play old out of print records. My use of turntables and turntables goes back 60 years - it reminds me of the first turntable my parents bought me when I was 6 years old. This way I can put my kid's record in my room and "close the door!" The mechanism is more modern, the sound is stereo vs mono. It looks a bit old school, but the sound, even coming out of the speakers, is acceptable. I have a nice set of wireless headphones that will eventually plug in so I don't bother my 92-year-old mom who lives with me.

A very nice turntable.

A very nice turntable. The price is less than half the price of similar models. I think it's the best turntable under five hundred. Its simplicity is elegant. While it doesn't take up a lot of space at home, I've been buying records from my childhood. Ahhh. .?. Such memories have been instilled in me by this unit. I've seen many youtube videos of old records and many of them use the exact same turntable. I chose to buy this one from retrolife and I love the color! The record won't turn until the needle is over the turntable. The sound quality is good, loud enough to be heard from another room. Listening to the old records that my mother played for my brother and me more than 50 years ago, it seems that I have returned to those carefree days. Come and buy it!

Good Turntable

I have a few turntables in my house, but wanted to buy some that would fit my bar area, spent a lot of time looking for the right turntable, and ended up buying retrolife on the recommendation of a friend. I started using this record player after reading a review of the steps to use it. It only took me ten minutes to set it up. No issues so far, the sound quality of the record player is great, it plays smoothly, no clutter no matter how loud I put it, it really does everything I need. My guests like it in the bar, I think I will continue to buy retrolife's turntable, and I will recommend it to my friends.

My mother said it was great.

I bought this record player from retrolife for my 87 year old mother who has records from the 40's and 50's. She said she had some trouble setting it up because it would skip at first and she had to fine-tune it with the adjustment knob. But when she finally got it right, she thought it was great. I listened to it and the sound quality was excellent, even on those old records. She is very happy with the purchase so I am very happy.

I was looking for a gift for my wife and she wanted a record player for a long time and I saw this and had to move on. The setup is simple and the instructions are very clear and concise. Once I unbox it and hook it up, I put some records to test the quality and performance. After using it for a week, here are my thoughts on this system.
sound quality-
The included speakers are decent enough. I doubt I'll keep using them.

Its looks and other aspects of its functionality strike me as great! I originally bought it to replace the player in my Mid-Century Modern console stereo, but I'll probably choose to put it on top because it looks cool.

This is our first turntable and I have to say it was very easy to set up. The workmanship of the product seems to be flawless, the bluetooth connection is easy, the sound quality is perfect, just make sure you follow the speakers in pairing mode and turn on the dial. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good turntable. Inexpensive! The base of this player looks great and you can tell right away that it is well made. . Once assembled, it sounds and plays great. Very happy and recommend to anyone.

Really great looking and sounding turntable I am very impressed with this turntable. The Wood grain surface. is breathtaking. I bought it because it has bluetooth. I have no problem connecting it to my Denon receiver. However, it won't connect to my Amazon Buds. Hope there is a solution. The sound is good and solid through the lower range Audio Technica cartridge. Overall I am very satisfied with this turntable and will probably buy another one.
