Troubleshooting
- Make sure the power adapter is securely connected to a working outlet.
- Check if the belt is properly installed on both the platter and motor pulley.
- If the belt is loose, twisted, or off track, reinstall it correctly.
- Confirm you are using the correct speed setting (33 / 45 RPM).
- A worn or stretched belt may cause unstable rotation, replace if needed.
- Ensure the platter is fully seated and rotates smoothly.
1. Check Connections
Ensure RCA cables or speaker wires are securely plugged in.
If using external speakers or headphones, make sure they are powered on and set to an appropriate volume.
2. Verify Mode Settings
Confirm the turntable is in PHONO/VINYL mode, not Bluetooth or Line In.
Some suitcase-style or all-in-one players have a PHONO/LINE switch—make sure it is correctly set.
3. Inspect the Stylus and Tonearm
Check the needle (stylus) for dust or damage.
Gently clean it with a soft brush (back to front).
Ensure the tonearm is properly seated and balanced.
4. Test with Different Records
Try playing another record to rule out a worn or faulty vinyl.
Make sure the record is clean and free of dust or scratches.
5. Check Volume
Turn up the turntable and/or external speaker volume.

1. Dirty Record (Most Common)
Symptom: The needle skips occasionally or frequently during playback.
Cause: Dust, fingerprints, or static on the vinyl surface.
Solution: Clean the record with a carbon fiber brush or a soft cleaning cloth.
2. Dust on Stylus
Symptom: Sound is intermittent or the needle jumps slightly.
Cause: Dust accumulation on the stylus tip.
Solution: Gently clean the stylus with a soft brush.
3. Improper Tracking Force / Tonearm Balance
Symptom: Skipping occurs immediately when playback starts, or the needle slides out of the groove.
Cause: Tonearm counterweight is not balanced, or tracking force is too light or too heavy.
Solution: Adjust the counterweight and tracking force to achieve proper balance.
4. Unstable Surface or External Vibration
Symptom: Needle skips randomly during playback.
Cause: Turntable is on an uneven surface or exposed to vibrations (e.g., from nearby speakers).
Solution: Place the turntable on a stable, flat surface and keep it away from subwoofers or other vibration sources.
